Mocked up drivers side inner rocker and rear top hat section to start last nights shift. Burned those in.
Outriggers, jack points, lower b pillar, and long side support lower section were next.
Started fitting long side outer.
Made up a small patch section for the front inner lower section of the driver rear fender well.
Just finished tacking the long side into its new home. Really happy with the fit!!!

Last nights progress…started by fabing a couple repair sections, one for the center section of the bulk head and one for the inner section of the pass side frame. There was no way to slip the front cargo floor support in place without sectioning it. Cut it in three places, slipped each of them in their spots and welded it back together and to the frame.
Front center section needed a small adjustment to the flanges to fit.
Front heat tube section needed a few repairs.
Slipped all the heat tube sections and the center section into place and welded them up.
Inner rockers and a small frame repair up next.

Yup…. fixed all the rusty spots along the edges of the dogleg lips at the floor, a pillars, and the inner valance.
Had to cut the pin to get the ebrake handle out. Heat and some love from the air hammer to get the remains out of the handle.
I was able to drill and tap the broken bolt out of the shifter mount. Front floor install is next up.

We’re going to polish the top of the ribs on the running board.
Shorts center caps up front, talls for the rear.
Stacked and stuffed the motor.
Installed the last seal for the sunroof!!!
Laid down 2 layers of Home Depot “sound deadening” everywhere I could.
Started installing some of the gold bits also.

I’ll be honest… Posting on here via my cell phone is very time consuming and uploading pics is very fustrating. With Instagram… Takes me less then 2 mins to post lots of content. But I’ll start getting more regular posting up the park way stuff.
Get with the times bro….Forums are back!!!!…😜😜😘😘

Front floor went under the knife last night. Like the cargo floor it needed both L&R sections, that along with the holes left from a long gone gas heater and a couple cancer spots best choice was a whole floor replacement.
Heat tube sections need to be removed for a complete front floor job.
Both dogleg lips and driver a pillar will need couple small patches.
Soaked the e-brake handle mech and pivot down with some sweet sauce. Hopefully we won’t need to cut the pivot pin…🤞🤞🤞

1a. Wreck class 11, commonly first race or outing.
2a. See 1a. but 5/1600 car freshly built.
3a. Cheaper to buy a RZR, fun to ride but not cool, like a scooter…🤣😂

Pans are roughly 25sq ft. per side.
Are you going to do inside & out? Fender wells?
Franz and Wes both have used Wurth. They said it works good, bit over priced. Dries to a bit more on the soft/rubbery side.
We used Rockit on Mike’s Baja about a year and a half ago and it’s holding up very well and still looks great. The kit we used was $200. More then enough to do everything. https://www.semproducts.com/product/rock-it-xctm

We’ve made good progress on the car…horrible on the updates…so here we go.
Finished the headliner. Second one I’ve done. both have been for personal cars. Learned a few things for the next one. Stoked how it turned out!!!l
All of the windows made it in.
Few parts needed some bling…. L97G , 71-72 Karman Ghia metallic gold!!!!…😎😎😎😲😲😲

Pulled the pop out windows first thing last night. Only had to drill out 6 screws.
The cargo floor needed repair sections along the long side and the cargo door side. When I found the front center section, top hat, and some of the bulk head were all cancered up, that pushed us to do the whole cargo floor….😳😳😳
Started chopping about midnight. Cut all the major junk out in, around and under the cargo area.
Major yuck above front center section…🤢🤢
All off the missing bits have already been ordered…😎😎
Front wheel wells.
Rear wheel wells.
Need to finish dissecting the remaining little bits around the cargo area then onto the front floor.

Franz you saved that corner!! Nice work!
More tear down last night. 99% done. Bit of headliner to scrape and pop out windows to go. Soaked the pop out hinge screws with PB blaster so hopefully those will come out easy tomorrow.
Filled the vac up 5 times getting all the animal house leavings and poops out.
Ready to start chopping out the rusty areas.
Driver side froward pop out mount is going to need love.
So will the farm fix that held that window in.
We will build it if it comes.
