On Monday I was able to purchase another really decent red 64 beetle(THANKS JESSE)…Thats going to make 3 running/driving red 64 beetles in my driveway. YEAH! Stock, lowered, and lifted. “How do I feel today?” Is what I’ll be asking myself when I step out of the house.

I took a picture of the eclipse on Monday. I thought it didn’t show much…but I guess you can see some weird stuff in the lens flare.

Been gathering  up all my rims, fixing broken clips and powdercoating them at work 🙂 Got 5 pre 63 and 5 post 63 Bus rims all ready to go!!!

It’s friday….. Good morning… Weather is bitchen out!  I am busy sanding and buffing on a Barndoor… And about 1/2 my fleet of cars could use a little loving…. Maybe I can do some of that this weekend… My Pamper is begging for some attention….. 😎  I think I am about ready to add some cool patina to it and a fresh roof rack. 😎  and a big ass LOGO on the side….

Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎

Nice pic Pete! We need some of that rain up here in the upstate. We have been dry , hot, and muggy for the last two weeks. It was great waking up to mid 60’s this morning and looking at highs in the mid 80’s for the next few days. Upper 90’s and humidity above 60% is hell to work out doors in!

Nice. That was quick so if I can finish cuting out the floor in cab maybe tomorrow  then I be ready for the real work welding the new metal in. Damm this bus is going to be a badass 58 DD panel all patina queen. I stripped the drivers door with easy off last weekend it revealed some yellow paint then som e OG L31 dove blue. It’s not going to be easy or perfect but I am going to by a case of that shit and get to work. I love me some OG L31. Can’t wait any longer to drive a split bus

Jesse, try citrastrip instead of  easyoff…..works the same but not as easy to damage that precious OG L31 ?
