^^^ As soon as BOR drops the 2023 schedule I’ll know. Should be the Vernal Dinosaur Dash in early May if they keep close to last years dates.

Riley came in and helped get front end panels finished. Thanks bud!

Rear light bar mount welded in.

Ebrake base tacked in place. Fabed a new mount for the main power switch also. 

And started on the first template for the elec. box. Good weekend!

We will build it if it comes.

Wayner is keeping it on the DL… but he just bought a 5/1600 car.. #561.  Looks like the red and white “rising sun” color scheme..

he wants to race wendover!!!  Woo hoo more racers!!!  I hope wayne, Pat and I can do some BOR races!!

Ive been looking for a 094 trans. Local guy called asking if we were interested in a vanagon trans because he did a 6 speed subui conversion in his ‘84. Said he didn’t want to deal with putting it on The Samba. Hahaha.

SCORE!!!

Weddle side to front shift conversion mech arrived yesterday. This allows the shift rod to stay in the tunnel and no cable shifter required. 

We will build it if it comes.

It’s all coming together… Franz and Pat are building their own race cars after getting a few mouthfuls of practice on others people’s rigs..  They know you have to dot every I and cross every single T you have… racing is tough on everything.. 😎  The more time you can spend prepping, the better!!!
