    I have always done it exactly like Franz does.  Can’t go wrong. Make sure your axle tube flange mating surface is flat. Some of those get over torqued and wonky.

    9F3F57AE-C4E0-4F92-8188-7C1EF91AC0B3Well another 5 months have passed and I am finally able to put some time into my double door again.
    I have two questions for y’all. I am working on rebuilding the fresh air box seals and such. On the flappers that direct the air to the sides or out the back what kind of glue do you use for putting on the new rubber?
    The other question is anybody know what the correct thread size is for the screws that go into the bulb holder on a bus bullet turn signal that hold the outer housing?  One of mine the threads are jacked up.  I have new screws coming from wolfsburg west but there web site doesn’t tell you what size they are.

    I am also looking for a single drivers side outer bullet turn signal housing.  I don’t care if it’s rusty or painted or whatever.  Looking for something that will work.  Email me at vwfool@aol.com or text/call me at 602-616-3083   I have PayPal and will pay for it with shipping

    I am super excited this thing is getting some love. I bought it 5 years ago with dreams of making this the ultimate road trip camper for myself. Andy is turning my money and dreams into the reality since this is way above my skill set.

    That bus was actually purchased by the Terible 2’s Bus Club in Phoenix about 15+ years ago. I was a founder and Contributed to its purchase. Still sitting in my friends backyard.
