Its almost the same as a honda grom!

But yeah, I’d rather have a real dirt bike for that price.

….for transporting with a bus tho….that thing is badass. Goes interstate speed and off road and easy to tote. hmmmm, maybe its worth $4k

…I’ve spent more on bicycles 🙂

I’m trying to install this tarboard that Chris Vallone supplied. I cannot make it conform to the metal and lay flat….and glue is not sticking very well.

I looked up Chis’s youtube to see if he had suggestions, and you can see in his video below that its not very flat looking.

Upon doing research, it looks like people are suggesting roofing felt looks more correct than the “waffle” pattern we have… I think this tarboard kit is incorrect. It appears to be the same kit KGPR sells. Maybe I should try to find some roofing felt tomorrow.

Moved the body to the lift to prepare for assembly. I had to take a picture in the sun.

Baja mike was in for a first 500 mile tune  up today. Everything looked great and fixed a few other nagging items.

Could even rig up a temp switch to turn it on and off

How about  perfect size tank to fit in the corner opposite of the battery.

Put a second mister on the oil sump too?

Yeah! Stoked to be getting stuff together for Baja 1000.

Having the truck setup with utility boxes and rack will be a game changer for the two days we plan to spend chasing and pitting the car.

Rusty was stuck in Salina for like 4 hours yesterday changing ignition parts.

He sounded like he was about to start smashing things he was so frustrated.

Looking good Will. Sorry to hear about your lack of employment. Maybe you could get a job at a VW shop.
