…but once in a while you find something good. Blue screamer in the bottom of a distributor collection. Paid $6 for it. The former owner was hoping to get enough money to buy two beers.

in reply to: 54 camping box #400Going a little different route with the engine on this one. No dual carbs. Because they don’t fit with the stock gas tank location and spare tire tray.
…And eventually this bus may get a stock 36hp installed back into it. Doing it this way will make easy to swap later and allows us to keep the spare tire tray.

in reply to: 54 camping box #210I’ve spent some of this time away assembling the transaxle. Some new parts, some NOS, and some good used. I reset the gear stack free play to .002″ and checked/adjusted the ring and pinion into proper mesh.
