These Porsche 17s are catching my eye. I can get a decent deal on the set, 17×7 & 17×9. Is it just me, or would these look great paint detailed? Chrome or polished with black in the window/lug hole area? Narrow the 9s to 5s…

Don’t do the 5″ wide!! You’ll have to buy stupid  tires from Europe.  7″ wide will fit. But I know your building your Fastback to do all that show car stuff. I know, I lived that life once. Now I see it and don’t miss it.

 

But it I like the idea of detail and paint work on the rims

I’m a fan of 17×5 with 165/45/17 tires.

Any rim width can be cut down if the size is not available.

Here’s a set of 70s or 80s English Compomotive CX 500 wheels I’ve been working on for another project. Still need to have new inner and outer hoops made. These were 16s, and I’ll be going to 15s with them.
