    Ok.  here is the plan:

It sitting in the dirty shop….so….you might as well do some wrenching on it.

    Today, I am ordering:

    1.  Safari kit

    2.  Gerson rear bumper, bumper mounts and splash pans.

Hey John:  Here is what I need the dirty shop to do:

    1.   Add some patina’d green to the nose.   (no paint booth needed)…….scuff and buff….install emblem……

    2.   Install Safari’s

    3.  Fix decklid hinges and dial in the valance and decklid

    4.  Paint rear bumper and install

I am flying to Grand Junction on September 4th.   I am hoping for a work days (Sept 5, 6, 7)  and I fly home on Sept 8th.

    Clean shop:

    1.  Install new engine, trans

    2.  Front beam and discs

    3.   Lower the bus

    4.   Drill drums

    5.  Make sure all electrical is sound

    6.  Install new tires and rims.   I will buy some new rubber when I am out there.

Bumpers, mounts and splash guards ordered.    Bare metal safari’s ordered.  I ordered the safaris unpainted and unassembled hoping it easier to paint and such.

Jj: slide rule!  Genius mechanical device, no wheels or even circles!  Trig calculator.

Gretchen: imagine a sphere.  Infinite sides!  Squash it a bit flat.  One sided object??

    Sorry was bugging me haha.

    a slide rile doesn’t do anything mechanical…  😎 😎  good try.   I guess it moves…  😎  I can’t think of any mechanical item that doesn’t have a circle somewhere in it’s design…. hummmm

This is probably more of a preservation than a restoration.

I gotta come and rub oven cleaner in the engine bay and dash.    My skills as a restoration expert are irreplaceable.   Plus, i need to fill the fridge with beer and break your tools.

I sent a care package to you today via fedex.
