Hey Scott….talking about events and not wishing to highjack Pete’s thread…..

I was fortunate last night to see a great young Charleston duo ,Sally and George,at a local gig here in Perth.They are currently touring Australia.

George [Joel Timmons ] was telling me after the show that he knows of you …and obviously Plane Jane through your local music scene.

He thinks you may have played in a band with his sister.

He also played with the Sol Driven Train for some years.

Small world !!!

The white sandy beach looks like the one at the bottom of my street….and of course the beautiful Indian Ocean.

I bet your dad’s had some interesting  chats along the way about the Super Camper.

I’m sure ,there’d be a few envious Grey Nomads out there just lovin’ it.

Did he drop the HiAce body on the Hilux chassis ?

How’s the V6 copping with the load ?

I do like the Google Maps time of 102 hours driving from Bendigo to Margaret River….via Darwin ……oh yeah ??

Came upon this ’41 Dodge recently.

Complete, glass and all….parked up 12 years ago and still runs.

I gotta admit ,I was surprised when I asked the owner if he is interested in selling it …..and ‘Yes” was his quick reply..

Alas not for me, but worth saving by someone.

I took the pics to capture the cool patina.
