I went to the pool with the family and drank PBR talls. Still waiting on a decklid and hinges to get this singlecab out of here. Oh yeah, and I worked on my solid business plan.

am I supposed to have a business plan?? 😎  I guess you need one if your going to borrow some money from someone…   No one would loan me money..  They say self employed is right next to unemployed… 😎  Unless you want to put your house and other stuff in hock… 8-(

Are you really thinking of quitting that GOV job? 😎

Had a great weekend! It was freaking hot and muggy here in the southeast. So I hung out at Tipsy Taco with my family and had some street corn, couple old school tacos and some cold Sols with limes and watched some football along with some people watching.

All you folks have a  safe productive day!

Pete, Scott , and the rest of the kcw folks on or near the coast. You all keep an eye on this hurricane! I have been waiting for my family up north to ask me to go down and board up the condo but its about getting  to late for that. Its in the barefoot resorts about 3 miles in from the coast so it should be all good. I will more than likely be down there to check on it post storm if it does come our way.

Bussiness plans are easy these days.

    1) Start and instagram.

    2) Kill it.

I’m not wishing this hurricane on anyone, but I *think* it’s going to stay just north of us.  Ghia is at the body shop on a lift waiting it’s turn, and I’ve traded texts with the owner about whether to bring it home to higher ground or leave it at his shop.  I’m about 20 miles from the coast, and his shop is about 10.   I’ll decide something tomorrow depending on the storm track forecast.

Yes. I’ve had enough of the government. looking to do my 10 and get out.

You had a plan John, whether you had it on paper or not, it was in your head. I’m going to have to borrow money. Was hoping to just run something out of my home shop, but zoning kills that idea around here. If I’m going to quit my “perfectly good” job I need it to be mostly legit for my own piece of mind.

I don’t know what map you are using there Magellan! You are way closer than 20 miles and he is less than 5!

Thanks for the well wishes guys. We may be dodging this one but it will be a mess elsewhere if it continues to strengthen. I am still watching it closely because some models still have it coming here.

Yep!  Typo’d time/distance.  20 minutes/10 miles from coast.  I was purely guessing on David’s shop being 10 minutes (not miles) from the beach.

I can get a flatbed lined up…Scott…given what we know now would you leave a car at his shop or bring it back?  He said it’s up on a lift.
