Fit, drilled, cut, welded by Franz, shaped, straightened, dressed, sanded, polished and fiddled with OG canvas hold down strips all day.

Tomorrow should be rewarding…😁😎😁

Finished installing the last of the small bits on the top yesterday. Interior hold down straps, lift arm supports, and the handle.

Turned out great!

Riley kicked butt on the retro mat yesterday!!!

Working on canvas top hold down strip fits this morning.

Annealed two of the OG strips to remove the humps we don’t need in them.

Mocked up and burned in dzus tabs for the front end yesterday. 

Start of the front bumper also. 

7 tabs seams like it will do the job.

Finished up window install.

Laid a bead of sealant under the rubber edge before installing the filler strip. 

Lots of sealant squish for a good seal.

All cleaned up. 

Riley is starting on retro sound install this morning. 

I’m working up new stainless support plates for the top.

Laid a bead of sealant in the grove for the pop top before installing the rubber. Also sealed the joint.

Just finished getting the first window into the rubber.

Filler strip up next.

Finished up vent install. 

Picked up windows from the tint shop. Clear that blocks out UV and 43% heat. 

Dry fit the window seals also. Install tomorrow.

Lots of squish seals it up good!

These vents are tedious and detail oriented. They require full mock up before anything goes together for good. One down one to go.

Hells yeah Lava was a blast this year!!!

Assembled pop out mechs for the pop top.

Working through the first vent fit on the top. 

Everything that pop rivets or bolts to the top will get a little bit of Moretite to seal it up.
