Awesome road trip yesterday to a great tailgate. Learned a good lesson. Dont pack the bus with 6 guys with 1000 lbs of gear. I snapped my rear right torsion bar. Left front sitting way high, back right dragging. Still made it home safe. Now i need a porta power, lift, air wrench…….man Would be great to KCW next door. Not so much in madison.

in reply to: Toms rhd Oval Vert #40159Hello All. I am actually in the Northwoods with little to no reception on my phone (deer hunting). Can’t even download pics. I am sure it looks awesome and I look forward to getting these home.
in reply to: 1957 Euro Palm Green/Sand Green, Logos, Semaphores #40066You guys have done so much for me already on this. You can stop anytime you want and just leave the rest for me. I think the only thing I really need is to make sure the stance is level. I would do this but I don’t have a torque wrench to take rear hubs off. Lastly, the engine fine tune. All this other little stuff can really eat time and I know that the budget is blown on this one. Its cool to call it quits. Just help on the stance and get it ready to throw on the hauler.
in reply to: Toms rhd Oval Vert #40055just spent dumb money on a vert rear view mirror off of samba. Being sent priority to KCW. I think this is the last piece…..
in reply to: Toms rhd Oval Vert #39946Hi KCW. I am submitting transport request for pick-up day of November 1st. That usually means that they can come 10/31-11/2. Is this ok? I know you guys are slammed and there is still some work to be done on the vert and bus. If it doesn’t work, let me know. Thanks a lot.
in reply to: Toms rhd Oval Vert #39822Car is amazing. I was hoping to schedule transport around November 1st. Gonna transport bus and vert home on the same trip. KCW…hits another one outta the park.
in reply to: Toms rhd Oval Vert #39715Should be an exciting day…..really cool. Thanks, Franz. That ride height may need a bit of fin-aig-el-ling. Looks like a pretty sweet car you guys built. Thanks, again.

in reply to: Toms rhd Oval Vert #39684Hell ya. I hope the last chapter of this build comes smoothly for you guys. its been a 4 year journey for this rig and its gonna be great to get her home and enjoy teaching my daughter how to drive stick on it (mom doesn’t trust her in the bus). Thanks, KCW.
in reply to: Sailing Bridges ‘52 single cab #39523I am amazed that this is going to be a work truck getting all scratched and dented. That is nuts.
in reply to: 1957 Euro Palm Green/Sand Green, Logos, Semaphores #39521Ok guys. I am planning a big tailgate party for the Badger – iowa football game in early November. Our plan is to roadtrip all three busses down to the capitol and throw a big bash. I am shooting for hopefully shipping the bus back around October 31 or so. Will this timing work for you guys? I think we have some bits of work still needed on the bus and just want to make sure that it can get squeezed in over the next month. If that timing doesn’t work, just let me know…..no big deal. Probably the more critical timing is that I plan to ship enclosed transport with the vert. I am not a good judger of time needed to complete things….so maybe the vert is the critical one. What are your thoughts JJ and crew? I know you guys are slammed with work…….
