imagine driving down the highway and seeing that truck and trailer cruise by !
I bet there will be random IG or Fb posts with pics of it going down the road!!!
I love going on adventures in our bus!!!
How perfect would this be on Tom’s car?
(edit – just realized Tom’s light is on right, and this is left. But still….)

And you guys nailed every detail of the vert. Nice job, once again KCW!
I’m sure Melvin has delivered these two sick ass VW’s… I’m surprised we haven’t seen a picture or two from the highway!!! 😎
Tom must be out hunting or I am sure we would have heard something by now..
Enjoy..
Proud and Stubborn 👍🏻
Got my cars home. I put it in the garage since we have 6” of snow. Looks beautiful and purrs like a kitten. Thanks KCW. I will post things up as i get time and the snow melts. I threw my bus in storage due to snow.
Clean nighthawk
Hey Franz. Did that mirror ever show up? I did receive the handles. Thanks a lot. they guy did send me a tracking number…I think it was coming from Belgium.
Check out what arrived today. It looks good. I can fix it up.
You should be getting that torsion bar any day also.
Thanks Franz. I appreciate it. This car has parts sourced from Belgium, Switzerland, Australia and Germany. Pretty cool.
I’ve had this on the back of my bench for a few days. Tom gave a guy in Belgium $1000 for it. Converting to RHD. Luckily, tom had a portion of his original in addition to the complete unit from Belgium.
Check out how small that passenger visor is. I replaced the plastic with a cut down WW unit.
All the chrome and aluminum polished nicely.
I was just messing around yesterday, things went smoothly, I was excited to finish this morning. Short visor (10 3/4″) riveted together with cut down plastic.
Check out the profile and screw depth difference on the lower edge. Base in the foreground look rookie-built.
To reverse the visor and mirror I had to drill/tap a 5mm for a set scew on the opposite side.
And a new set screw dimple in the chrome shaft for the mirror.
