I think OCTO blew Tom’s mind! Every time I saw him at the show we talked about how crazy it was! So many buses.

I think the retro sound radio was the plan. Keep it more simple than running a whole system in the bus.

What a great (long) weekend! Lots of driving. So many hours in a bus. My body hurts! Haha 1600 ish miles for me from utah. Yesterday was HOT. Got to Vegas at 230am crashed for 4 hrs and when we left around 730 it was already 90 degrees… I started stopping every hour it seemed like to cool down and get ice haha. You don’t realize how much of a grade it is from Vegas to cedar city until it’s hot and you’re in a bus! It’s almost all uphill haha but luckily it cooled off in cedar city and we grabbed a long lunch and chilled out. I made it home at about 6. Long day. Lots of stops. The Goodrich 58 westy ran like a top! I had to readjust idle mixture really quick in so cal at sea level. And I had one clogged idle jet. But other than that all it took was ICE haha.

it was so nice to meet Tom Unke and Creig and their families! Creigs place is cool! And that Jerk chicken was delicious!

so cool that Tom H came out to OCTO as well! We had the KCW customer camp at Franz’s swap spot! Franz was selling shit like hot cakes!

I’ll have to talk to Tom about it. Sounds like we might see him at OCTO this weekend.

I only feel comfortable taking the bus after the interior is done. I don’t have enough experience for it. Especially with a fun and detailed deluxe interior like this one😎 hahaha KCW has the tools and the experience for the interior. This special bus deserves that special treatment. That’s why I dragged it all the way from Seattle to Junction!
