Yeah… Were sanding it all….  I want it to look as good as it can!!!!!  Audrey has been doing the roof and finishing the body while I been helping Rusty!!!!   I’m gonna put 2 coats on the bottom, wait overnight, scuff off the overspray and do do the whole top in one session. Hoping for some nice flat no buff needed finish.. 😎

Gonna start putting paint back on this week!! 😎  Get her in the clean shop and start doing sound deadening, pulling a wiring harness, hanging parts and head towards some Douglas interior love!!!  😎 😎 😎

Monday morning and Tom is the main thing on the TOP of my list!!!   All that turkis was fun.. Now let’s lay down some final coats of sexy paint!!!!

This week, finish up paint and get it moved into the clean shop!!!   I guess put it where the forever Vert project is sitting.. 😎

Well, looks like I am the only person posting in this thread..  😎

When I sealed this bus two or three weeks ago..  As soon as I sealed it… I wasn’t happy with it.   I tried seam sealing a few things before I started painting.. It helped some.. But I pushed it through paint anyway.. and for the most part it came out great!!!  But.. I still wasn’t happy with all the body lines.  I decided right off the bat I was going to redo it all…. So…. That’s what I have been doing… I dug out all the body lines real nice… and it’s going to be super sick now!!!

So this has all been free work from Audrey and I…   I have asked myself many times.. WTF???  Why am I working on something for free?? Cause it’s not as nice as I want it…   I want it as close to perfect as can be had.  This is toms baby… and a huge investment…  It needs to be right even if it costs me time in the end…  Another reason I really hate painting.. always some free clean up work!!

Being the painter feels more like an obligation than an honor.. 😎  and I pitty the guy who takes my place… 😎  😎 😎

I think OCTO blew Tom’s mind! Every time I saw him at the show we talked about how crazy it was! So many buses.

I think the retro sound radio was the plan. Keep it more simple than running a whole system in the bus.

Glad Tom caught up with you guys!  And witnessed an OCTO!

I attribute the extra work to me not starting it from the get go.   I would have blasted all them body lines clean if I blasted it… First step, total clean up… That was missed right off the bat, and my bad for assuming… But I got this.. 😎  Going to be right even if it cost me some sweat of my brow… 😎  I cleaned them all up and see a few spots to seam seal…

Clean shop bound!!!  Get Kelly’s moved and yours in!!  Then pray to Doug to please help us through one more fuckign interior.. 😎  There is ONE more doug pill to take… 😎  😎 😎

Masking… waiting on some 2″ tape right now… 😎

We spent the last couple weeks wet sanding and yesterday we scotch brited the holy hell out of it!!! I can’t count how many times I’ve touched every. single. inch. Of this bus 👌🏻but DAMN. Is it smooth and looking GOOD 🤤🤤🤤
