    Runs great! …but the generator bearings are not good. I can replace them fairly easily, and Napa usually has the bearings in stock.

    Just finished the generator rebuild. Going to install the engine in the car now. Driving tonight hopefully.

    Driving! The starter solenoid is sticking, and I noticed the brakes pull to the left a little.

    Wow! Franz. We went in to fix some oil leaks and no we have a classic. Thank You so much. Can not wait to drive it home. Greg and Dana

    Yeah it’s a beautiful car! Glad I could bring its potential to fruition.

    The front brakes had some new parts, but you can see the passenger side was leaking and the driver side had a shoe that fell apart. I’m re-surfacing the drums now and we should have a 100% sorted machine.

    Yeah! I fixed everything, even the dome light works. I had to clean the original paint wheels and polish the hubcaps. It’s like a new Volkswagen would have been in 1963 …except a little beat up 😁.
