Yeah Kim, I’ve been doing well. Cole and I are helping Tom finish the mechanicals on his bus this summer. We’re ready to install our parts after JJ does his paint and interior work.

Steering box painted silver beige.. as well as shifter.   I found that shaft 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻..    all is well.   I’m about to paint some bumper brackets so these bumpers can go together and get hung on the bus!!!!

Some progress 👍🏻  Re did the over riders🤫🤫🤫.  Now I think everything is ready to assemble bumpers and hang the front.  

next step??  I think I will remove the dolly and start putting shit together 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

Looking good! There are some new ball bearings from McMaster for that steering box…Probably with the front end parts.

You can assemble that front suspension if you want, too.  It’s kind of a hassle for me to be taking it back and forth from Utah, and I know you’re plenty capable….It’ll be easier for you to install it in pieces rather than whole assembly anyways.

The drivetrain is 100% ready. Let us know when you have the rest of the bus completed..Tom, Cole, and I will schedule a time to install the mechanicals and drive/tune this rig in Colorado. Maybe even send Tom on a road trip back home in his bus. Does that sound like a plan?

Sounds like a plan, and a damn fine one at that, but I’m out of the country from June 15th to July 4th!

Realistically it’ll be the third week in July before I get to spend any time with the bus.
Although, realistically there’s a few things left to do…
The middle and rear seats are still under way I hope. The rear seat was in good shape and I think it’s at your place JJ.
The vent trim pieces are also at KCW. Any idea where, Franz?
And the deluxe bumper trim- did it get polished by Pat? Or has anyone seen it lately?
JJ, do you have a parcel tray you’re happy with or should we order one from CIP1?

Anything else we are missing?

If I can assemble that front end, I reckon I can probably install a turnkey motor and trans too🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐.   You are going to drop off a turn key set up and I am going to install it.  That’s all the help I need from you guys.   😘  Thanks👍🏻

I haven’t done anything with the middle and back seat cause we don’t need a back seat to drive a bus!😎😎😎  I keep hoping Doug will drop by and need some 💵💵  so I don’t have to call him first 🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫  but if it comes down to it….  I’ll  call him🤫🤫🤫🤫

bumper trim is here. Not polished yet.  Vent trim is here too, old and repop.   I haven’t looked at my parcel tray selection but I will today!

I got the dolly out yesterday and I will start assembling that heavy ass front end today! no worries Tom!!  When you get back from your month away..  I should be done!!!  And you’ll probably owe me a grip of money 🤫🤫🤫

Got my hub cap clips!

Got out all the stuff to assemble with OG hardware!!  And a back seat..  I couldn’t find one with deluxe bar mounts???🤫🤫🤫🤫.  So I will have to add some mounts for those.    Getting this shit out of the trailer kicked hurt my back and I quit early☹️

We got Tom new HD transaxle mounts and a powdercoated cradle too…No worries.

I will deliver the drum to drum transaxle (with brakes) to KCW next weekend.

Yes! Let’s get the seat frames prepped for Doug so he has no excuses. Hand ‘em off to him and he’ll have a month to get the covers on… should do it! ⏳
Franz and Cole will send the front emblem so it can get in and the kick panels can go in.
Tires, wheels with clips, and with the trans it will be rolling! 🛞🛞🛞🛞

Maybe third or last week of July I’ll get to you in Grand Junction, JJ!

We’ll get Franz and Cole to bring the engine so I can turn a wrench putting it in -gotta get my hands on part of this bus before she’s totally complete! This is my fourth splitty bus and the only one I haven’t pulled an engine or fixed the brakes on! 🔧🔧
With the seats in we can all drive to dinner! 😅😅🤩😍
