How’s about some “At Home enjoying it” photos?!?!?!?!?🙏🙏🙏😀👍
Definitely will post some of those… once it’s home!
There was a little to finish up, like engine, brakes, fluids, and wiring, so it has stopped off in SLC on it’s way home! 2 weeks and counting and she’ll be at home in the garage! Can NOT wait!!
I heard Tom got Best of Show at the Utah Classic. Congratulations Tom and VVM.. 😎 Dream come true stuff right there!!! 😎 😎 😎
Never make someone a priority, that makes You and Option. 🤔🤔🤔🥲
Came to say the same, but that’s congrats due to you as much as anyone JJ! In fact it’s due solely to you, Franz, and Cole. It was your expert skills, talent, and knowledge that won that award! I hope you are as proud as anyone!
Thank you!And yes! Quite a day for me- my maiden voyage was just 25 miles from Verve Vintage Motorworks in Orem, UT to Riverton UT to show at the Utah Classic.
She’s gorgeous to look at and drives like a dream. Quite and smooth and comfortable. Not a thing missing or out of place and all functioning as though new. Did I just drive away from the dealership in 1962?
Surreal!
Gotta be super happy with the award.
Congrats to JJ, Franz and Cole on a great collaborative result. Making dreams happen daily.
A beautiful bus indeed…..enjoy in large doses Tom
KIM
Test Pilot @ Submarine AirwaysHoly shit !
nice work everyone
and, congratulations Tom
Yeah good work everybody! Audrey, Pat, Riley, and Doug too… And let’s not forget the guys that worked on the metal long before it arrived at KCW. It takes a small village to resurrect a project like this. Countless days sanding, and nit-picking every little item.
I’m glad that we had to opportunity to build and assemble the mechinicals to make this the best driving machine possible for Tom. The single port 1776cc w/stock carb runs great down the interstate pushing 70mph all day…Strait axle freeway-flier(4.12 x 0.82) gearbox kicks ass!
It was awesome to get the best of show award! Tony Brown, Pete Wangsgard, David Ross, Jason Smurthwaite, Wayner and the whole Utah Transporter Association put on a really good show…The $10k+ raffle engine was no joke either. Some 20 year old dude won it this year.
We had a great time cruising around the valley logging legit miles yesterday. Many more to come. Thank you again Tom for being understanding and easy to work with. I enjoyed the work that Cole and I got to do for you.
Congrats to all involved. This is a beautiful ride and certainly deserves the accolades.
Very nice. I’m sure you’re happy with getting the bus on the road Tom.
Congrats to all involved in putting this bus together. Nice job guys.Tim
