I’m gonna put them front door mech’s together so we can finally shut the doors on this rig.. 😎 Finally!!   I was waiting on the front remote mech… they are almost always busted!!! RIGHT!!!   Well, ofcourse, Wolfsburg West has them… 😎  and Pat ordered us some.

Tom had the wrong door on the right side when it got here… so he had the wrong mech.. I found one of them in the trailer… 😎 although, WW sells them… 😎  But.. I do try to reuse original stuff in most cases…   It’s always a topic around here… spend the time and clean up up, possibly repair and possibly still not work right…. Or just buy a new one… 😎

We are pretty much waiting on a trans so we can take it off the dolly…  Might be nice for Cole to Come for an extended stay, a few days… and we can assemble the beam, trans, and install it all and be driving it in a matter of days if everything is prepped.. ???

Parts are getting to be more and more of an issue.  Just like Doug.  Just like prices on everything…  just like the cost of my labor….

projects are tougher and tougher to get through.  Each one tougher than the last. Makes me not want to do deluxes any more🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐.  But I just agreed to one more🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫

Pretty sure the BEST solutiuion to this passenger door is to find an original and redo it all… I have been fighting this new door from the first day I touched it to weld it together…

I’m gonna look for a door at BBB… any of my fans out there that may have a 62-63 right side door they could let loose of for me?  Preferably not rusted to death….. 😎

I am Very happy to say I got an email yesterday about a bitchin pass door for your bus Tom👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻   I paid for it, now we got get it here.  I think it’s in Washington also 😁😁😁😁😁  So,  I’ll have this disaster fixed in no time👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Then we can look at mechanicals.. although I know Cole had a new son this weekend!!!👍🏻👍🏻  Congrats Cole!

Yes, John is right, I did get it from someone here in Washington, posted on the Samba.  It had more rust than I hoped, or the seller knew, so we made a deal and put it into John’s capable hands.  I’m excited to see it come out as new!

I think the seat looks plenty good to me!!!  The worst part about this seat is I’ll have to deal with Doug again!!  Fuck…. I was hoping I was 100% done with interior work!!!!
