Made progress over the weekend. Not as much as I would have liked, but progress.

Rear cage tube connectors fit & welded. Used the porta-power to get it all lined up. 

 

Patched around some tube work as well. 

We will build it if it comes.

Weekend engage…RACECAR!!!

Upper rear trans mount. Some tube fitting first.

Bracket/gussets after that. 

Fit and tack welded. Tube connectors should be here Monday to finish it off.

Knocked out the fuel cell mount yesterday. 

15 gal RCI cell. Filler neck will be changed to a large diameter for quicker fill.

Thinking about mounting the spare up front for better weight distribution. These cars are rear heavy, hoping to balance it out a bit. 

Fire wall today. Dzus tabs fit and welded to b-pillars.

Lower panel templated.

We will build it if it comes.
