Pat is doing them lower valance repairs now… gonna do some grinding, them get it all dusted off today I hope!!!

That was a chore getting the bottom side finished!
Started at 1am last night, flipped her back up right about an hour ago.
First up was straightening the lower valance lip. Much better!
Next was fitting the new pedal pan. Only had to make a couple of tweaks to get it on.
Noticed a broken bolt in one of the pedal pan valance mounts. I was able to drill and tap it. No invasive surgery required!!
All 4 of the pedal pan side mounts in the frame were stripped. Welded nuts to the back sides. Forgot a welded pic…oops…
Fits great!!
Pass inner valance needed 2 patches.
Drivers side a pillar and inner valance also needed patches.
Finished welding the jack points, bulkhead and seat pedestal to the front center section, trimmed the excess off of the drivers side rocker lower lip, and lots of misc finish grinding.
Last repair!!!! Smashed up rear cargo floor support. Looks like it landed on a big ol’rock at some point.
Chopped the cap out. Sliced the smashed section to hammer it straight.
Welded the support back together. Fabed a new cap, burned it all together, and dressed it up all purty like.
Ready for a bottom side cleanup in the blast booth.
Lots of grinder and metal dust after a double shift.
We will build it if it comes.
Sand blasting is going on. Carefully masked to save the OG paint around the edges and the engine bay.
Our blast booth makes it easy to do things the way we like!
Hung out at blast beach all day. Totally sucked roasted toasted melty schwetty balls!!!!
After that tasty meal…..I won!!! Job done!!!
Slapped some cardboard in the engine bay hole to protect its natural beauty.
Bottom side is “ So fresh and so clean”

fuck yeah! That looks awesome… Gonna look awesome all painted up in 50% gloss sealer color!!!!! It will be nice to work on!!! Not that it should need it after Franz dials her in!!! I am hoping to drive back with buddy in his bus.. no transport this time!!!! 😎 Or… I drive it out and you fly me back? 😎 😎

Franz and I finished detailing the bottom side. Rolled out to the paint booth. Just finished masking. Mixing epoxy sealer now.

Franz was all gung ho so we’re laying down the factory Velvet green overspray this evening.
