    Hell yeah.

How about a steering box raise? The 1” raise doesn’t require floor or steering shaft modification.

Same as the palm green sand green you guys did.   Any lower and it will not get in my driveway…

I’m thinking a steering box raise is in order then!!  And it will be much easier to do without a floor in the way!!!!!!’

maybe I should dust off my welder, put some wire in it, fix the on off switch😀😀😀😀😀.   Put some time in on this next week???😁😁😁😁😁😁😁.

Are you sure? The 1″ raise doesn’t make a mess.

Going to do some patching and start fitting metal this morning.

    I like 😎 the raise..

I’m sure your last one was done… but if you run large enough tires, and you be care full driving it… I guess it would be ok…. I hit my box yesterday in my kombi, but I was on a dirt road close to our campground… I bet you don’t dirt road it much.. 😎  😎  😎

Franz is doing some shrinking on the stretched out long side…  I am cleaning up all our old welders in the Dirty shop and May have to amp up production on this project……  😎  😎  😎  Franz wants to get back to the European racing legend soon to be 912…  😎   😎

Fixing dents while I have easy access to both sides of the metal. Lots of shrinking and hammer work on the bottom of the long panel. It’s near perfect now. 👌 I was also able to straiten the passenger wheel well and corner today.

Had to cut the pin to get the ebrake handle out. Heat and some love from the air hammer to get the remains out of the handle.566C62BA-7536-4BCD-AF70-21C04E2328A4D9586B17-C269-4271-A418-3F7ABC2F3022

I was able to drill and tap the broken bolt out of the shifter mount. Front floor install is next up. ADBE0B2C-4506-4E12-B569-1A1D3CE489D0DCFEDA66-C12B-48D7-A5D5-CB708E3F94DC

Last nights progress…started by fabing a couple repair sections, one for the center section of the bulk head and one for the inner section of the pass side frame.29C19D38-981D-4E4F-AF04-1BD1918E0041C3A3DAC6-94F0-4272-9A83-5372D8A746B945F62234-07DB-4EA5-A332-576F21C7535F5C1254A4-333B-4F6F-9FA9-A93BFE1CF020There was no way to slip the front cargo floor support in place without sectioning it. Cut it in three places, slipped each of them in their spots and welded it back together and to the frame.B12084AA-F0CB-4737-8145-6C24F487F517

Front center section needed a small adjustment to the flanges to fit. E0CB4786-A8EF-4175-8A3A-B01A56B90C9B

Front heat tube section needed a few repairs.20EB176C-C87D-4DC4-B632-508D20631FBC

Slipped all the heat tube sections and the center section into place and welded them up. 13988C5A-3D27-44C9-96ED-9B1D8D12CDFDCC12B6DA-82C5-43E0-ADDC-914428DFDD80

Inner rockers and a small frame repair up next. BD314866-0955-4062-80E3-29AA2D827117862BA3AD-A83F-4298-AF59-60B3A5447099
