Well Buddy’s new patina bus showed up this weekend, a Velvet Green 66 13 window he got out of Kansas. Paint has been cooked to perfection.

So far it sounds like the plan is all new detailed mechanicals, lowered on RDWs, painted bottom and engine bay, and a fresh OG style interior.

Pat and Franz haven’t wasted any time getting it up on the lift and mechanicals torn out of it.

This bus is sexy! Blend sounds way better than full bottom paint.

We took all the mechanicals out, scraped grease/ dirt.

I could not resist doing some metal work on the crunched corner. Pushed out with a portapower and hammer worked.

Franz you saved that corner!! Nice work!

More tear down last night. 99% done. Bit of headliner to scrape and pop out windows to go. Soaked the pop out hinge screws with PB blaster so hopefully those will come out easy tomorrow.

Filled the vac up 5 times getting all the animal house leavings and poops out.

Ready to start chopping out the rusty areas. 

Driver side froward pop out mount is going to need love.

So will the farm fix that held that window in.

We will build it if it comes.
