What about the Tempo Matador?
in reply to: KCW randomness #7675My wife and I, are going on a cruise to New Zealand and Australia. Any suggestions from you boys in the land Down under. Things to see or do in Tauranga, Akaroa, Dunedin or Melbourne.
Hey Kevin sorry just saw your message. Tauranga is pretty close to hot water beach where you dig your own hot tub in the sand!
Also you can take a trip from there to some of the geothermal parks like waiotapu or up to cathedral cove.
I didn’t get to spend too much time on the South Island but I was told you should be able to see penguins in Akaroa and my friends studying in Dunedin loved tunnel beach.
Regardless, I’m sure you guys will love your time down there you really can’t go wrong!
in reply to: Willbur's 65 SO42 #7670I know, its black
. The paint shop ran out of grey poly, and black is all they had left. We’re just going to roll with it and use the black, which shows every little imperfection, to make it even better.
like that hand print 😆 😆 😆
in reply to: KCW randomness #7347Who’s looking to spend $1,000,000 on a bus?

in reply to: Willbur's 65 SO42 #7233After five days of sanding on Will’s bus we finally got it partially in poly.
Sanding sucks ass. I felt like Sisyphus in hell pushing the rock up the hill only to have it fall right back down. My hands are pealing like an onion.
I hated breathing in the consistent haze from all the sanding and we have successfully covered all of KCW in dust.
But at the same time, it’s also very zen. Working to make a panel perfect only to realize that you messed up somewhere and have to do it all over makes you relax about speeding through and instead focus on getting it right.
It sure makes you appreciate trips like this one to Havasu more
Overall 4/10 would not recommend
in reply to: Willbur's 65 SO42 #7138I got a bit carried away tonight trying to make this corner not garbage. Still pretty rough but a lot closer. Finished driver dogleg and mounted the door. Will sanded the other corner already and did some welding on his door
in reply to: Glenn's Weekend Blue 1963 Ragtop #7055Just trying to remove as many scratches as possible Rusty
On that battle, I went a little OCD and took the hood and front fender back down to 2000 grit to try to remove some deeper scratches after already having been finished with the rest of the bug 🙄
The turn signal had been glued into place by a previous owner because the holes were too big. When I took it off Rusty and Will helped fill them in
Nothing like drilling into a fresh paint job 😯
in reply to: Glenn's Weekend Blue 1963 Ragtop #6805Finished the first compounding with 3m super duty last night. Going to do one more today once the new pads show up then hit it with 3m finesse-it.
in reply to: BrownCloud KCW baja race team #5687Just got back into San Diego! If you guys are rollling out here I’d love to check it out with you
in reply to: BrownCloud KCW baja race team #5478That thing sounds pretty prime! I could have a look at it for you when I get back.
