    That has to be the best fit firewall I have ever seen in a vw

    I have been involved with class 11 for 46 years now and signed in to give just a bit of advice, the back of your car is very sparce for bars, not that you need a lot but from what I can see you have no way of supporting your rear horns which will be the very first thing to break if you dont have them. The rules allow the cage to go anywhere yes it does say straps in the rules but that went out in the late 70s. Just trying to help you, my first race was at Riverside in 1975, in what was a brand new 1967 Vw sedan with only a 6 point roll cage, it was also the very first race for class 11. 2 laps into the race the passenger horn broke putting us out. about 6 miles is all it took and we were not the only one to have one break. It is one of the most important supports you can put in your car for longevity. Good luck to you….Dave Hendrickson…Dave-co
