The rumors are true. Engine broke in last night! Running well. Excuse the shiny generator dome washer. I need to swap it to a powder coated black one haha 🫣
JJ, this engine is running a generator, I was thinking about putting a voltage regulator on the top of the generator. But I think for this later split bus the correct location would be on the side of the passenger wheel well. Thoughts? Would you mind installing one? I can bring one down with the engine too if that is easier. Whatever you prefer.
Now I just need to set the ring and pinion depth for the transaxle and then I will assemble it. I will get to that right after we get back from Baja in a couple weeks. We leave for the 1000 in 6 days.
The wheels and the bumpers and the middle and rear seats…. what else?
JJ, do you have the M Plate, or does Cole? Or is it already back in place?
And the aluminum vent trim? Delicate little things, so maybe they’re one of the last to get buffed and put in place? I had all that were needed and maybe a couple extra I believe.
