.Our extra project manager in this project has made this project weird from the day it was dropped off.  But the day it was dropped off, it was also decided that the bus would be finished here at KCW, Tom would drive his finished bus to Cole’s  place in SLC and get an oil change and tune before he headed home in his rig!   and Tom was real happy with all this!      That’s a fact and makes good sense .😎.

But a few things have changed sense that day. And Cole says he’s too busy to come to KCW and do the trans and engine, and doesn’t want to drop off a ready to install engine and trans for me to install..  ???       Is there some galaxy that I’ve never heard of where Cole is more qualified than me to do the mechanicals on a bus, especially a lowered bus!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️   Ummm. 🤔🤔🤔

im gonna get the door sanded and 2 more smooth coats of Turkis on the out side, mask the inside off..  then mask for two tone!👍🏻👍🏻  Nothing has changed for JJ..😎😎.  Tom is at the top of my list!!!!

Sounds like Tom needs to decide how he wants proceed being you are close to the finish line.  The customer and their wallet usually wins out.

Plus the weather is getting nice. Just in time to enjoy a freshly finished bad ass bus.

You can only control your part.  It sounds like the customer made other provisions early on for the drivetrain, for whatever reasons.  Complete your obligation and tell Tom it’s done as far as you can take it, and to bring a dolly and pick it up within a reasonable amount of time since it’s taking up an indoor storage spot.  Basically step back and leave it in your customer’s court to sort out.  If Tom still wants to drive it from KCW let him know that can still happen, but he’s got to take the reins and get the parts (and the people if he wants someone other than you to install it) to KCW to do it ASAP.

This new dynamic between everyone is all really unfortunate.

There is little to no doubt, that the easiest place to finish this is here, as planned.   I offered him to come over here, he can’t. It’s unfortunate that Cole is so busy he can’t finish it here.

I am going to get this door done and hanging on the bus with trim..  I should have that done by Friday…  Then I think I am done. 8-(  I just want to move on to a fresh project that I am in charge of.  😎 😎 😎

I fucking hate this new dynamic… Fucking hate it, can’t wait till it passes.. If it does..   I know, I guess I initiated it.  Sorry, had to happen.  8-(

Thanks guys.  I respect your opinion!!  I am going to finish this door put it on..  and kindly ask them to come get it.   This is not how I like to finish projects, but I guess it’s not my decision this time.

I got the 600 grit and 2 sweet smooth coats of Turkis done yesterday.  Going to get that blue white done first thing this morning!!

If I were Tom I’d be on the horn with Painters grinding this AM getting a motor and transmission over to KCW ASAP!!!! How to convince John it’s worth it to pick up a dropped ball and score a touchdown might be a bit tricky!!!!🤔🤔

I agree! Would love to see the bus finished at KCW.  Get a turnkey engine & suspension shipped and get it finished right.
