Picking off little items on the shell, more patches on the driver’s seat pedestal, must have been a rats nest in there, fixed the cargo floor edges that I messed up 😳 , lots of grinding. I finally made a rocker to cargo floor clamp, can’t remember how many times I could have used this before just didn’t take the time to weld some scrap on some old vice grips 🙄
Had not 1 but 2 tenants flake out on me and drop out of their leases in December leaving me with dirty broken houses 😈 Damn crazy women bustin up their families and cutting into my vw time!

While you guys are in bus heaven can you get me a couple measurements, maybe a pic or two of a subhatch hole without the trim? I need the dimensions of the hole and how far it begins up from the rain gutter, how high the lip rises above the roof, the lip that westfalia made when they bent the roof hole. Is that lip just 1 thickness of metal – not folded over?
This project is on semi-hold while I remodel a couple houses 🙄
I do need the top hole dimensions if anyone has a fliphatch bus around.
I took my lid to the local tin bender shop- the inner reinforcing ribs are rotted thru and I don’t have a bench break, figured they could bend up a whole new one without much trouble and the guy agreed, but his interpretation of a lid was not what I gave him or at all what westfalia was thinking 😈 Don’t take auto body parts to a hvac shop.
