Inside first, why would anyone do it opposite?

The side gate is rotted out on the bottom. Like everything on that single.

If it was a 55 it would be a great project, will take a lot of new metal for  just a 60 tho.

The last few I have done.. I did the outer skin first… Then I can get those welds on the B pillar at the top of the skin…  I set each end.. and weld it.. Get the top of the outer welded to the B and then put the inner in,,,, make sence?  I’ve done em all kinds of ways…

There is a whole order on what comes first when you are doing that much new metal. It can go smooth or not depending on the order of installation.

A little progress this week 🙂

WW rockers I had in stock. I like the e coat on their metal but it doesn’t go inside the rockers so not much use there 🙄  Wish they would ship them in 2 pieces so they can be installed right.

C pillar and short rocker came out nice, cargo door should fit better now. I fucked up and didn’t buy the long C pillar for the other side, wasting time rebuilding that one now 🙄

Yes I’m ignoring the roof for now, getting the lower stuff back in place. It will need some shrinking and bending, and another hole closed up. 🙄

Got the left C pillar and hinge pocket rebuilt yesterday, short rocker and cargo rocker burned in 😀 Doing lower nose today, front floor next 😀 😀

I’ve been slathering Rust Bullet in the body cavities over my marginal sandblasting for a little protection.

Things are looking up for this poor bus!

I’m going to leave the little hacked in crooked gangsta windows in it Bubba, even though I really like panels. That means I get to chop up a og high hinge panel door 😮

Got the lower nose in yesterday, more Rust Bullet slopped on in the nose cavity, short upper nose fitted and coated on backside
