Good call. No gas tank pads tho.
Actually the floor does have the depression for the fuel tank petcock, I bet it was a dc floor…
Worked on this spot all day sunday and beyond. Would have been easier if my repair piece wasn’t so bent up π‘Β Had another roof clip portion but it is as rusty as the one I cut off. Fixing repair pieces π
Hell yea Jeff ! getting it done !
Jeff is getting with it… !!!!Β Β I bet winter is your favorite time of the year,,Β Β πΒ πΒ πΒ πΒ πΒ π

Sammy and Sadie are welcome anytime!
My roof is looking Great! if you Ignore all the sticks holding the bow in that tweaked skin, π³ what a hot mess. More green metal came in this week so I’m back on the lower side, I’ll go back to the roof when I feel like taking a beating π‘Β
Jeff.. You kick ass..Β πΒ Β Love those smooth bulkheads…Β Jeff has more 58 W/T’s than anyone I know. π

Dog leg going in, C pillar going out. Rocker today π
This is the first bus I’ve done complete doglegs on. I thought they would be hard to remove, clean up and align the new. They come out fast, clean up nice and have lots of points to align them properly. IΒ have spent way too much time in the past repairingΒ doglegs! They are always full of hidden rust anyway.
Wife said yesterday “this bus is going to be all green soon” π
Looking good Jeff !
Thats one of my favorite buses
Getting after it!!!! If I lived closer.. I would have to come by and help ya! πΒ π

This thing is so fucked, it needs a new everything from the cab back, and a lot in front too. After I pulled the bed and floor off by hand I decided that the 58 was an easier project π
