Cleaned the chalkboard, painted it with grey poly, blocked that and shot the carcass in epoxy.

Hung and adjusted the doors and blew on some L31

Cleaned, etched, and epoxied my axles, and shot on some Rustoleum black. I was busy last week!

I got my door hoops ready for reassembly and then realized I have no slider or fixed panes 🙁 The glass that was on this bus – it was hazed real bad, etched. I don’t know wtf happened to it… I picture the bus body sitting in some yard next to a refinery or chemical plant. Tried to clean it, you can feel the hazing etched into the surface. I got rid of 1 side on the green westy (sorry new owner!)  thought I had a good set stashed but I guess not.

Where do you guys get new? Orig style with the hole for the latch. Does laminated even fit in the felt seals?

we get em cut and tempered for big money busses.. and then logo appropriately.  I would imagine, you would be cool with anything OG…. In which…. I probably can help you out if you don’t have any extra.   Sounds you want both sides, minus vents?  4 pieces?  I can ship it with the glove box door..  OH… I threw that box away… so get bubba to email your address please. 😎

A small nut would be nice but I have the split case, it’s orig to the bus and works fine. They seem to do well with a single port 1600 or smaller motor, and there are no freeways in my ‘hood, don’t need to get much over 60mph. Not sure what I’ll do for a motor yet, I have most of the stuff for a 40hp sitting here…

I like the old 40 hp motors.

Putting my undercarriage back together, yea. Always nice when it’s not scattered all over the shop! replaced my front torsion bar, that’s why it had coilovers on the front. Only had a later style, non welded leaf set to put in, Bently says not to replace welded torsions with non welded, guess I’ll find out if they wander out of the hole…
