Hanging parts… brake lines all in, cables, waiting on wheel cylinders to button up the brakes. Cleaned and painted the screw terminal starter. All cabin windows in place now too.

This 36 was in this bus before, came from a old ghia some years back, was kinda stuck and had signs of water down the carb but I got it started and ran a few laps around the yard a while ago. I’m going to clean it up and put it in.

I heard of a logo bus in Cortez for sale. The same guy has a pelican red /black 59 ghia for sale too.

Shit he probably knows all about it, the Bubba network has this place wrapped up tight.

Compression checks out good, heads look shiny under the 30 year old grease, A quick clean up, scrape off some old gunk and… Oh shit!Guess it did have some water in it 🙁 It was holding oil till I started messing with it. So much for a quickie…Damn!
