Just to let you guys know I am on the site daily and I am following all the builds and enjoying every minute of it. You guys keep me from selling the beast. Thanks again.

Steve has his hands full. His 2nd child, a baby girl, arrived last Wed the 15th.

Congrats to his family!

Last I heard, the deadline to finish the bus is set at May 2012.

Congrats on the new baby Steve! Just in time for the holidays....

I remember seeing your bus in person, quite a while back, and I can honestly say that I was blown away... The work that you have done in the rust repair and the custom suspension is off the chain. Big thanks to all the folks like you that raise the bar in this lo-cal...

Even back to the "Magenta Menace" (as I called it) 67 beetle you built!

I remember the first time I saw that car at the Oshawa Sunday Cruisers show (Swiss Chalet parking lot) MAN! To me, that was the hardest VW's I had ever seen with my own eyes! And in OSHAWA... of all places.. WOW, that was WAY back.......

The chrome bumpers look SWEET that close to the ground too!

Cheers!

I remember the "Magenta Menace". First time I saw it was at The Great Canadian Bug Show at the old VW headquarters on Warden. That bug had my jaw on the ground. I saw it in the autotrader a few yrs later for 16k. I shook all the money trees, broke all the piggy banks, and couldn't come close. Wonder where it ended up?
