Rest up this weekend JJ! Hopefully we can see you out and about and stronger than before! My dad’s comments were “hopefully they added a few inches to you in all the right places!!”

Right?! It was my college roommate Adam’s high school friend! I guess it pays off to be the “crazy VW kid” in multiple social circles.

Let’s not pretend like buses are quiet either! If you want a quiet car get a Tesla!

Staying in Colorado for sure, just with all the COVID stuff it seems like we may be able to be remote more often, so I’m figuring out where I’d like to be if we don’t have to go back. Maybe just install a wifi hotspot and signal booster in my bus? I did some work from Wyoming in the doka the other morning.

your interior is looking sweet! FYI- I purchased NLAVW flooring and its shit to say the least. It has a felt backing that doesn’t stick well to industrial flooring glue, and it gets scuff marks very easily. Example is you fart while sitting on the vinyl and it has a new scuff mark. I have taken my bus camping twice in the last month since I installed the flooring and it looks like it has been in the bus for years. I will put it this way- My old ’67 Sundial that had its original linoleum that’s 50+ years old looked better than the NLAVW floor after one month. 67 Westy Interior67 Westy NLAVW Flooring

Definitely glad I didn’t go with that floor material then, thanks for sharing. Are all of their other parts holding up okay though?

He must have had this shop forever because it doesn’t seem like he’s in a rush to make rent or anything. He’s done 2 interiors before mine and then a couple of Z-beds or other small projects. The nice thing is that it’s sitting inside though, especially because I’m moving out of my place in Boulder this month and have nowhere to put it!

Might want to consider doing a bay window gas tank because this thing is going to be thirsty! 😅

Thanks JJ, I think I’m gonna fish with that car on Samba before it gets the Bring a Trailer treatment.

Franz, do you guys have any kind of relationship with Burley after doing the Ultimate Syncro? I’d like to get their trailing arms for this but they want you to send in your cores first and can’t really decommission it in our driveway right now, so I was wondering if they might send you a set before cores.  Or maybe a Parkway Project swap?

Hey Dan, I’ve always had a good experience with Intercity Lines.

More expensive than someone like Montway, but easily makes up for it in the lack of headache from all their bs.

Haha right Franz! The storage thing is nice though since I wouldn’t have a place to put it right now. Still, hoping that this won’t actually take another year.
