Started with a Wolfsburg West panel. Trimmed and shaped to fit. 

Welded

Dressed.

Sanded and seasoned. 

We will build it if it comes.

Nice job all around.  The roof repair looks super tight!  It’s tall but looks so good!  Do you guys want me to order up some tires and have them shipped there?  I’d like to run BFG’s what size do you recommend?

What Bilstein’s do you use for the front?

I purchased Bilstein 24-632799 and had to grind down the sleeve that the bolt goes through by an inch and a half to be able to get the washer and nut on. I’m curious if others are doing the same or if I goof and should have bought a different pair that doesn’t needs modifications.

Humm…. I feel like maybe I had to grind the rears down a hair to fit between the mounts.. but I don’t recall the front needing any mods….  But it’s been a few years and a few doobies since then…. 😎 😎

Well I imagine Cory is on the road already!!!     He’s on his way with his Class 11 car… He bought it from Badger, who bought it from the guys in Moab, Team NO Zombie…   Who did race it… it has already passed some tech’s… so… should be solid…

BFG’s showed up friday… All Terrains!!!!   Gonna be a beast of a bus!!!  Super tall right now.. but lets get an engine in it, a roof rack on it, an interipr in it, a bed of some sort… a roof rack all loaded down and two full size people up front…  It will be just right!!!!

I have had several times my bus has been so loaded down I was scrubbing in hard turns and what not. I think it’s going to be perfect!  That is no adjusters, nothing to fail, nothing to adjust, a HEAVY 1/4″ turn… maybe a light 5/16″ turn of the center blocks..  😎
