Installed retro sound deadener where it was missing the OG in the rear quarters. OG style from Wolfsburg West over the rear parcel area.
Trimmed the fender well pieces to fit. Ill wait for the carpet kit to arrive to make sure it will cover before gluing in the padding.
Door assembly up next.
We will build it if it comes.

I think it’s From Glenn Ring.
Our friend Jesse has been holding onto it…He got it from Dario a couple years ago in trade.
Its a nice piece. 👍 I’m honored to put it to use on this build.

Assembled vent windows on Friday
Most of the pass door as well.
Driver side door assembled this morning.
Cleaned up the rear window. Installed fresh rubber and trim,
New rubber for the pop outs also.
New front windshield trimmed out and installed.
Rear and pop outs back home also.
We will build it if it comes.
Wooooooow! Looking more and more like a finished car!! Liking the work Franz did to make the shroud “fit like a glove”!!! That distributor is the BOMB!!!
Vent windows, regulators, door mechs, and glass look GREAT too Pat!!!

Knocked a bunch off the list yesterday.
Cleaned & polished pop-out latches before install.
Assist straps, coat hooks, rear seat bumpers, securing hook, and dome light all in.
Blue German square weave carpet laid over rear fender wells and parcel tray.
Pulled the main wiring harness and installed vapor barriers for the rear quarters.
Trimmed out the rear quarter panels.
Installed this morning.
Up next.
We will build it if it comes.
