Getting ready for the Bug Jam this weekend!  Can’t wait….rained on n off all day today, the remnants of my bad girlfriend, but weather should be good all weekend….

We will be staying in Wesley Chapel Saturday night. We have been in Bradenton since Wednesday. Rode out the storm at the hotel all day Thursday. Was going to Rare & Unique party tonight but got cancelled.
We are headed to the Bulli show Saturday morning then possibly Bugjam in the afternoon. For sure Bugjam on Sunday.

Very cool, bummer R&U was canceled,  but Bulli will be a good time….

I’ll be in the parade with the orange Manx copy I pull behind my RV….didn’t get my new rims on it yet….

Sunday look for me, I’m hoping to have  my Zwitter & root beer candy metalflake Manx I out there….paint should b dancing in the sun!!!

Thanks Pat!  I built it back in 2014 for the 50th anniversary of the Meyers Manx.  I did most of it myself,  but had some great friends n family help me getter done! Paint was done by my buddy Jeff Peterson, a master of ‘glass n paint!   House of Color Rootbeer candy metalflake, medium flakes – they are actually plastic now so makes them stay suspended in the clear better when shooting…

Had a blast today….great weather….and had my free beer!…Tomorrow looks a little rainy as a front comes through….

Tom…..  I think it’s time to get back into this project for me… 😎   Time to start sanding again.. Block it all out and make it perfect and 2K prime it.. 😎

I think maybe Franz is getting close to be ready for the pan..

Painters Grinding called yesterday, sounds like they are starting on your 1914cc…  I told them straight cut gears for some whine… 😎 😎 😎  Trans is here and done… Motor is in assembly!!!!    Yeah yeah yeah!!!!  Lets crank it back up!!!! 😎

More sanding today…  I got the hood and all the 1/4’s done yesterday…  they blocked out perfect…  and I am working the poly down flat!

2k coming up…  Poly is a filler primer. The 2k is a surfacer primer👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Jumped in on this program today.

Dropped the shell down to a workable height to block out the roof. 

Three of the four fenders blocked out. Working the last one now.

We will build it if it comes.

JJ is just about there on the body. I finished all the fenders on Friday.

One door down this morning. One to go. Deck lid and sunroof should go quick and it’s all ready for 2K.
