Oh Damn!!! Cruising along!!!!👍👍👍
Body done, parts now!
Tom must be “out of Pocket” this week.
got the parts done ✅….
gonna tack them heater tubes back in under the back seat…: go back over the trunk and call the shell ready for final sand and paint!!! Parts are ready too.
pan… time to paint a pan!!! 60% gloss black.
Looks great! Looking forward to seeing some color on this one
I have a feeling that in the next few weeks this build is gonna be in the Clean Shop looking an awful lot like a Classic Bug!!!👍😃👍😃😃
Burned in heat tube section first thing today.
Sanded and 2K primed the trunk area next.
JJ dusted off the pan in the blast booth this morning. He’s been rounding up suspension and other parts for the next blast session.
Bent ant welded in new heater control tubes.
Sanded and ready for seam sealer, then out to the booth for sealer & paint.
We will build it if it comes.
Thought I posted up yesterday. Guess I forgot to hit submit.
Seam sealed before rolling out to the booth.
JJ handed over the reins on this one, at least for the pan. Thanks bro!
Two coats 60% gloss black on all the inside areas three coats and all the outside areas. STOKED!
We will build it if it comes.
Hell yeah’s!!!! 😎
Nice when the hidden bits are as clean and sharp as the visible stuff. But then…that is kind of the norm for KCW.
WOOOO looking good!!! 🤩🤩🤩
Is it just me, or is there just something sexxy about fresh and clean ACVW Pan? I have got to have me one like that some day. Need to have my 56 done like this when it comes time for that project.
Absolutely beautiful pan!! Body is looking great too! Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving!!
Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore!
Thanks Tom 👍🏻👍🏻
Yup.., I love a clean pan like that 👍🏻
