Crap!  Well, I guess now I need a beer – no pickin on JJ!  I guess we wait for Berg?  Don’t forget the nut & washer.  Maybe order the shifter too?  Was trying to get a 40% reduced with the fingergrip handle, if they still make ’em…..would go with an 11′ shifter….that would be a GB6730 and ADD-6710MN for the fingergrip handle….I’m not in a rush, but don’t want to leave er in your way in the shop….

Do we also need any linkage for the carbs?

Still need to block the body out and make sure it’s tit’s on a ritz!  go over the trunk and all the parts too, and put them in 2K primer.  I’ve been distracted quite well the past week…. I think Thursday I’ll start working again… 😎 😎 😎  I’m on a roll on my truck.. and I’m gonna keep this ball a rollin.. 😎 😎 😎

Trans looks good.  Did they use my case? (Not that it matters…just curious)  You guys paint them semi flat black and polish out the ribs?

No prob JJ, been watching the single cab….looking great…..keep going!

I’ve been distracted again….this time by a girl named Nicole!  (And too bad it’s not the one I know with the black hair and red pumps!)  2 hits in just a few months is a bit much….this one may be a little more than the last one for us….coming right by…stay tuned…

Was going to take off the next few days to be ready for Bug Jam….have some cleaning to do on the Buggy and have to check the brake fluid on the Zwitter…..I’m thinking they will still do the show….

My son & I are planning on making it to Bug Jam weekend next year. I look forward to checking out this rig in person! 👍

Yeah, the transaxle case is in need of a bit of paint detail. Usually just some rattle can paint. But we could do gloss urethane with the axle tubes and stuff. Polish the ribs too for extra credit points!

Hey D!  Looking forward to meet ya at the Jam next year….I go every year – good time!  Hopefully I’ll be there this Sunday (Of course I usually do the parade cruise to the downtown car show on Sat afternoon…the first few in line get a free beer coupon n I’m ALL about free beer!!)

Night was OK…..storm came on about 4am….had some wind, no big deal…..then it started raining…and kept raining….and kept raining….storm went right over us, thought we’d get a break in the eye, but the damn thing picked up moisture off of the warm Gulf and swung it around on us….it’s STILL raining now….we did get a few breaks, but flooded as hell – big mess.  Pump running in the back yard for over 4 hrs now….if it would stop raining we might make some progress…

Well hope you had a better week than that!
