The shell REALLY does look incredible!!!

Thanks for the order from CB, I think those BRMs will give it the right look…..

Yeah, I’m thinking let’s go with the A1 sidewinder, HT200 rear exit, and the ceramic coated heater boxes….I’ve had great luck with the ceramic coated stuff on my buggy (have whole Manx Sidewinder setup, my rear axle housings, and backing plates) and other bugs, holds up decent and easy to clean up….

Tell me about the carbs….whadcha get?  44 IDFs?

Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore!

Well, we were thinking dellortos would be better for idle jet access on top. John has a pair of original 36 drla that we could rebuild.

Heads? Cam? Compression? What are your thoughts?

    We’re knocking out the bodywork!

One quarter panel and a roof to go.

First round of primer on the shell later today!!!

We will build it if it comes.

A 1914cc usually runs pretty good with dual 40 carbs. 44 are more better suited for 2 liter or bigger engine…but could run well on a high reving 1914cc with a big cam and fancy heads.

Dellorto size numbers are misleading, 36 is more like a Weber 40. And a 40 dell is more like a Weber 44.

    With the quickness!!

I ordered the pan half’s and some random chassis/rear brake items to keep moving forward.

Yeah, I have to agree, the Dells are really smooth too!

Let’s see for heads was thinking some slightly worked 044s or similar would be decent.  Cam – a good mild street cam like an old school Engle 110.  Want to keep compression to like 8.5:1.

You guys have built a bunch more engines than I ever will, so I’m going with your guidance on a nice running street motor that would be fun and reliable.  I’m sure you have combos that you think work well together….the heartbeat of Sunny the ’66 Sunroof is in your hands…lol!

And the Body….can’t stop looking at the latest shots!  I can’t believe it’s the same car!!!  Really fantastic work, looking incredible!

Super sharp!  Love looking at those lines…..

Back to trans thoughts, I think we go with the HD axles….
