Finished up dressing the welds on the cab floor earlier this afternoon.
Then began working on dressing welds on the nose repair. Got about 90% of the way through with that.Type2empireParticipantAugust 25, 2021 at 7:00 pmPost count: 12
Don’t hate on Panama, she will be a better all around than your shiny thing when complete.FranzModeratorAugust 25, 2021 at 10:10 pmPost count: 4355
It going to be 100% solid and strong. 👏
Seldom seen, super-cool color option…
It seems like all 67 so42 westfalias were painted pearl white or velvet green (or a combo of the two).Type2empireParticipantAugust 26, 2021 at 9:59 amPost count: 12
Willys opinion is based on limited experience. He has only been a legal adult for a couple years..Type2empireParticipantAugust 26, 2021 at 10:02 amPost count: 12
I am very excited to have the kcw team getting her back in shape. This particular bus was in Panama until the mid 70s. It is a miracle it survived.ColeBModeratorAugust 26, 2021 at 10:27 amPost count: 2268alykatParticipantAugust 27, 2021 at 7:34 amPost count: 656John JonesModeratorAugust 27, 2021 at 8:27 amPost count: 8107ColeBModeratorAugust 27, 2021 at 8:36 amPost count: 2268

Started today with dressing welds in the battery tray area and passenger fender well.
Got back from lunch and began scratching up the passenger side of the bus to get it ready for bodywork.
