Dissected the heat tube in the cab also. Noticed it was brazed in, not welded like factory.
Found a tag on the back side.
Floor will go in without removing any other major bits.
Riley finished dissecting the rear center section this morning.
He also removed the last bit of the heat tube from the front center section. Bottom side is now ready to go back together.

Started my day dissecting the leftover bits of the inner front valance off of the frame.
More brazing work. On the headlight bucket to inner valance this time. Someone’s been up in here way back in the day is my guess.
Looks like this rig made it to the fair!
Riley started dressing weld on repairs this afternoon.
Chopped off the junk sections of the lower A pillars.
Working on inner valance fit now.
We will build it if it comes.
Burned in the inner valance yesterday evening. Also fit and tacked in the drivers lower A pillar section.
Clamped all the bits. Door fit & closed great!!!
Started on the pass side this morning. After fitting the pillar section I had to loosen the door for adjustment.
All of the lower hinge screws needed extra love to be removed. Had to drill and tap 2 of them.
Pass side door fits/closes great now!!!
We will build it if it comes.
I was able to get both of the inner A posts drilled, prepped, and welded in yesterday.
Welded the headlight bucket support to the inner valance.
Also took care of the grinding around the A post lower repairs.
Finished yesterday off fitting the outer valance.
Riley is all caught up on dissecting and grinding. He is working on pass cargo floor fit this morning.

Today I got the passenger side floor close to being ready to be welded in. Had to get it all marked this morning before drilling a TON of holes.
Got it set in the bus. Needs a few more holes drilled in it before it’s ready to be welded in.
