The nose…  It’s always the breast part!!!  😎    The brazing on the nose was a mess…. but I was able to grind away most of the braze that was joining the body lines up by the windshield… I think it will live… and the only way to make it better would be to cut the lower windshield panel out and change it…  and since we are trying to save as much original metal as possible.. I think I will leave it… I cleaned it up, I treated it with some rust spray, sanded it, treated it again… and am gonna scuff and prime it this morning!!!  Yup  Saturday….. JJ is working on a saturday again!!  😎  Racing is expensive!!! especially for the owner…. 😎

I am gonna spread a couple more spots on the nose, sand around the windshield surround again and put some poly on it!  I got the safari’s out, and I think I will work on them after the nose… See if I can get them apart and blasted today…

I got the nose ready to put some primer on and noticed I didn’t have enough…. bummer..   It was also one of the saturdays where I kept getting bugged all day… so I did not get them safari’s apart…

Pat has been here welding since like 4am… he’s grinding down tha passenger door right now…  I am going to continue workign my way around the bus fixing dents and shit and spread some tool mark remover over the worked area’s..  The top of this bus must be pearl white?

Shit is looking good!!!   Now. Creig…  The only nice spot to match this red is under the camper plug on the rear corner…..   The red on this bus sucks bad..   Not much to work with here… I think we are going to have to paint the entire bottom of the bus, belt line down, and the whole nose is gonna look new… I am not fixing every single dent as I will use some of that stiff to make the fotina look right…   Then there is the spot on the roof ???  We have beige grey on file to match with….

    DSCF0264

Pat is almost done with all the grinding and welding…  The front cargo door…. it is nice.. but the inner structure is fading away… but not gone, and not really in need of much repair right now… so going to draw the line there…

now look how crappy the pass side looks!?!?!?!?!?!?!?  Should we body work that 1/4 like the long side??  weird paint to match over here… ??  just spray the replaced meta;l?

I want to prime and think about the inside paint today…   I say we repaint the whole inside dash and all…. ,Maybe just leave the fresh air box?
