We have to decide on wheels in the near future…so that we can decide on brakes and suspension.

Does anybody have some 16″ wheel suggestions?

Dan likes billet Budnik’s…but they are not available in 16″

I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy.  I am thrilled that the EV items have arrived so that the KCW folks can continue their magic and the transformation.

Still looking for a 16″ rim.  I am trying to update/modernize the Fuchs rim look, but am not interested in thin profile tires.  I would prefer a soft ride and to keep my kidneys intact.  This is why nothing larger than a 16″ rim.  BBS rims are very nice, but I was hoping to have a more open spoke profile.  If I had to make the decision today, we would go with a variation of the Porsche cup rim.

Pat,

Great find!  What you suggested is really nice and checks all the boxes.  I am not sure I am willing to spend 10K plus on rims and then the cost to ship them from the UK.  They state that they lose money on building these rims so not sure how much discounting that they would be willing to do.  Webpage header states 6.5 and 7.5, but then the description states 5.5 & 6.5.  It is probably worth asking them for confirmation, pricing for four of them and what they can do with offsets, etc.  Franz, can you talk with them?  I know we don’t have the brakes figured out yet, but I think it is safe to assume that we will be doing the 5×130 lug pattern.
