So looking online this motor a capable of producing 600NM.

With EVs, the drive motors are typically direct drive. A peak torque of 600Nm at the motor is large, but at the wheel is actually not that big, so you’ll need some additional gear reduction to get going. After 9.73:1, that puts mathematical torque at over 5800 Nm 😎 and that’s actually pretty normal for wheel torque with an EV.

This motor controller is just using the existing control board, so it shouldn’t be limiting its output. I’m betting that we’ll need to dial in the power a bit to somewhere that will allow us to put it down given the lower weight of the bug.

I really thought we bought more of a plug and play setup.
assemble batteries, put a plug on them

mount engine, put a plug on it

mount a brain or reciver that controls inputs with male plugs.

mount a speed control put a plug on it.

moun a few more things, plug everything together.
Drive an electric Bug😎😎😎😎😎

Glenn helped me a TON!!!   I much better understand how this shit is all wired up!!

There is a TON of Battery maintenance going on and everything talks to everything via CAN line…8-)

We are missing out BMS. Battery Maintenance System and a few harnesses..  that we COULD build..  or just buy.. 😎

I need to get to building boxes for the batteries..  These boxes will hold the batteries and BMS…

I had no IDEA this motor is 3 phase AC..  ..Shit..   We need to put a 220v plug on this bitch to run a welder…8-)
