    All three of them were fighting to save the OG frame and glass… and SUCCESS!!! Franz did it with heat and pressure 👌🏻

    The glass sucks though. It’s tempered and scratched…so it won’t polish out. I’ll get some pictures of them cleaned up and we can decide to use them or cut new.

    Getting ready to blast and paint the window frames now.

    Ive been knocking items off the rapidly shrinking to do list.  Cleaned up front the door handles.7D714DF9-F67A-4393-8FFC-431EDD759AFE

    Installed the horn button, rear view mirror, and seat belts.

    Yep, window frames blasted and painted. We may want to sand these back for patina if they look like sunglasses on the bus.

    I did some cleaning on the glass. It’s not great, but I think it will look ok with some wax. The driver’s side glass is the nicer of the two.

    Them windows didn’t want to give it up!!!!!!!!!!!  soaked in oil for like 2 weeks… we had to porta power them, torchem and fight em!!!  😎

    AND NO, nothing got broke… Yes, we know what we are doing here…. 😎

    Thanks for the call yesterday Buddy!   Your bus is coming out awesome!!!!  I hope we get to cruise together somewhere this year!! Maybe an Octo or something???

    Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎

    Working through the grits: 80, 180, 320, 600 all on the DA. Then final sand 600 by hand, then buff.

    What was decided on the safari frames? Fresh paint or sand them down a bit?
