I’m glad we went all the way on this project…. 😎 😎 😎 On a DOLLY!!! 100% taken apart!!!! rust blasted away… I really don’t want to do anymore of those “Quicky” projects… Projects where the customer wants to run the show instead of us… it makes no senses when you look back on them… 😎 😎 😎 The way I have done them from the get go is the way to do them all.. Being able to flip em over is awesome … 😎 😎 😎
Your floors and last bits came in yesterday!!! I’m getting the 23 out of the Dirty Shop as quick as I can!!! You’ll be back front and center in no time!!!! 😎 😎 😎
Got the Driver Side Cargo Floor fit today. Started by trimming the edges to get it to actually slide in. Marked where the Top Hats were and spots to drill.
After drilling: Started marking where to trim the passenger side cargo floor next.
I agree John. Gotta save them 100%. If you are putting your name on it… it has to be your way or no way… Ive always thought auto restoration shops that roll cars in the paint booth and put covers over the tires and mask the windows are not restoration shops. I’m glad to have been watching you doing them right for the last few decades!
Jumped back into this one yesterday. Pass lower a pillar and valance tie in fit and burned in. Rust went up just a bit higher then the replacement section. Need to fab a small filler panel to finish it up. Riley’s back on the cargo floor this morning.
Full fucking steam ahead… Lets keep the locomotive full of fuel and heading forward!!!
