They are doing great work. This bus had just the right amount of rust 😆. It looks so nice. Brendan called today and said to keep the train rolling.
These wavy headliner retaining strips are strange. I don’t recall seeing them before.

Agreed! KCW always shows the work as it is, no hiding the ugly parts. No ugly parts on a KCW build anyway…WAY2COOLParticipantApril 22, 2022 at 7:43 pmPost count: 506

Going to take a break on this one fro a couple days.
Fit and burned in the inner valance on Friday.
Lower a-pillar and valance tie in as well.
Cut out the smashed up vent. We found a donor on TheSamba. Thanks for blasting it Cole.
Dash horizontal support brace had a kink in it from accident damage causing it to pull in on the pass a-pillar.
Good to go now.
We will build it if it comes.Tom HoareParticipantApril 25, 2022 at 4:05 pmPost count: 100
Wow. Brendan, your project makes mine look like a cake walk. These buses are a labor… of love and cash for us on the couch, and of hard work, vast experience/expertise and love, for the amazing crew in the pics above! Aren’t we lucky to have them to save these precious relics?!
