That’s one of them AVCS subaru motors… I’ll just plug the cam advance shit, something to do with the oil pressure changes the cam timing.  them Honda kids call it vtech or something..

 

i think I’m gonna make an intake like I do for my type 3 swaps/beetle swaps. It’s simpler, less bullshit, and cleaner than that fat fucking intake.

 

Yea JJ I think 2 weeks ish i should be able to be in your shop. Going to start mailing shit to KCW this week.

Ok I’ll have a final answer here in the next couple days.. October 2ed to October 10th.

Heres my game plan,

First, headgaskets, water pump timing belt, and get it in the van.

Second. make my engine hanger, and exhaust.

Third, coolant.

lastly wiring.

then make JJ drive a subi swapped vw.. 😁

also order a new pressure plate, clutch disk and t-o bearing. You guys can use whatever you want, buy it and I’ll use it.

 

Do these things have heater cores already in them? I’ve never done a vw this new.. the engine swap is no problem, I’m just thinking of the extras.

Yeah the clutch is vw. What ever size that’s bigger than 200mm, 220 or whatever it is. Get one of those.
