Sounds good, thanks Andy!! Yeah, the airplane fan was on most of the drive home… heat was fucking great!!! At first I couldn’t figure out how to turn it down and had to open the window to cool off! Haha

Awesome! I think your cooling system is all bleed out, just check your tank behind the lic plate. Back to the regular schedule program!

Yeah that fan on like that tells me we need to move the tempture sensor location. But I don’t see any reason to make an emergency trip to KCW for that.

I’ll make the part for it and have it ready. I really don’t want you to deal with filling the cooling system again audrey, I bet you were all kinds of stressed about it.

That doesn’t sound right. I get 23-24 on the highway, and 20 around town.

It might be her transmission is lower geared. I’ve read that’s and issue with later style buses and water boxers. Mine has a 3:88 R&P, and .82 fourth. But she should still be in the 18-19 range.

I’m gonna get her some larger tires next year….  But isn’t that just gonna put more load on it and make it worse???  Never heard of bigger tires helping milage..

Bigger tires could help in 5th gear reducing rpms by changing gear ratio but it could affect 1st-4th just depends on gear stack
